Watch Kingwood High School (TX) rising senior Myles Marshall win the finals of the boys 800 meter run at the 2014 World Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China with a "David Rudisha-esque" race as referred to by the race commentator. Marshall set an aggressive pace from the start to lead the field for the first 400 meters, before having to battle back to regain it in the last 200 meters to 1:49.14 victory and Youth Olympic Gold.

AUGUST 26--With a little help from her new found friends from around the world—several of who didn’t speak her language—the BVI’s Lakeisha “Mimi” Warner won a Youth Olympic Games Mixed 8 x100m Relay gold medal on Tuesday, at the close of the track and field segment of the Games in Nanjing, China.

Watch T.C. Williams High School (Alexandria, VA) rising junior Noah Lyles strike gold in China and become the World Youth Olympic Games champion in the boys 200 meter dash with a 20.80 victory. The Virginia state champion sprinter was the first of two gold medals earned by Americans in Nanjing, China.

2014 has been a dream season for the young star from Hallandale "Hurdle" High School. Kimani  Rushing's journey began no different than any other high school student. As a freshman in 2012,  Kimani competed as a 100m and 200m sprinter. During that time, track and field was a hobby to her, not a passion. After getting a taste of high school track and field, she considered her freshmen year a disappointment.

In her second time representing the United States this summer after racing the 3K at the World Junior Track & Field Championships at the end of July in Oregon, Iowa high school distance runner and triathlete Stephanie Jenks earned the silver medal with a runner-up finish in the triathlon competition at the World Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China on Saturday.
