Calvin Smith, a recent graduate of Tampa Freedom who is bound for UF this fall, will compete tonight with Team USA in the Mens 4x400 Meter Relay. USA won their heat in the prelims on Saturday with a time of 3:06.07.

Good news-bad news for PA. To close out the six-day meet, Nicole Leach (West Catholic/UCLA), anchored the 4x400 to a World Juniors Leading in the 4x400. On Day Three (8/17) Leach had taken 2nd in the 400 Hurdles in 55.55, .20 off of her PR. Jamaica\'s Kaliese Spencer was 1st in 55.11. On Day One, Ryan Fritz (Octorara/Penn State) did not advance to the Finals in the High Jump.
Martin runs 13.73 in 110-meter hurdles.

World Junior Championships slated for Aug. 15-20 in Beijing, China.
The final big meets of outdoor, from Blunt to World Juniors. In the Multis at the AAU Junior Olympics in Norfolk, Virginia, Ryan Krais won the Intermediate Girls Heptathlon on the first two days of competition to improve her US Soph Class Record. On Day Five, she won the 400 Hurdles for her 2nd title. And on Day Six, she added a third title, taking the 100 Hurdles in 14.03. And on Day Eight, she took 6th in the 400. Also on Day Eight, a Havertown Middle Schooler, Sophia Meehan set an AAU record in the 3000 Meter Run, going 10:42.77. She runs for the Dashers Track Club. At the USATF Junior Olympics in Baltimore, in the Intermediate Girls 800 Finals, Easton\'s Chanelle Price set a meet and junior Intermediate record with her 2nd best 800 ever (photo by Robert Wallingford, robertwallingford.smugmug.com) Sarah Morrison and Tim Wertner were the individual champs at the 3rd Tim & Susan Cook Memorial Mile Road Race. At the Keystone Games, Andrew Fahringer of Whitehall, threw the Javelin to a US#3 mark.
USA Track & Field announced the Team USA roster for the 11th IAAF World Junior Championships, held August 15-20, in Beijing, China. The Team will also culminate their training camp by competing alongside some of the nation\'s top elite athletes at the Road to Eugene \'08 on August 8 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.
