Calvin Smith, a recent graduate of Tampa Freedom who is bound for UF this fall, will compete tonight with Team USA in the Mens 4x400 Meter Relay. USA won their heat in the prelims on Saturday with a time of 3:06.07.
While they are the favorites to win gold, they\'ll face plenty of tough comptention. They\'ll square off against a very strong Great Britain, who they were able to handle in their prelim heat. Jamaica is also expected to challenge for the top spot on the podium.
Team USA is expected to get an additional boost in the finals. Justin Oliver, who won silver in the 400m, will step in to run one of the legs for the finals.
The Mens 4x400 finals will be the final event on Sunday, which is the final day. Let\'s long-distance cheer Calvin and the rest of Team USA on toward victory!
